There are few things that can make a Goldmaker’s mouth water like a high priced crafting material that is used in all 3 armor crafting professions. Even more when it is easy to farm. Say hello to the Guardian Stone.

This fancy rock can be found in the northern caves of Un’goro Crater. The rock elementals there called the Stone Guardians dropped the aptly named Guardian Stone. They have about a 20-25% drop chance, and for an average of 150-200G each that is not a bad deal at all.

If that wasn’t good enough, these mobs also have a chance at dropping the Jade trangmog armor set as well as a few other highly sought after items, albeit at a lower chance than other farms like Silithus.

These mobs hang outside the entrance to the cave and all throughout the linear tunnel inside. If you are solo farming this all you need to do is clear out all the mobs outside, then dive into the tunnel until you hit the dead end, then run back out and do it again. This is one of those farms that there isn’t much to it. A few laps and you will have it down pat enough to run while watching Netflix.

/target Stone
/cast sunfire
Sunfire assumes that you are a druid. For other classes, use another attack spell or ability instead, preferably one that is instant.
Additional notes:
- Hyperspawn – These mobs are part of a quest, meaning that the game will force-spawn mobs if there is only a small number available. The faster you kill the mobs the faster they will spawn.
- Group Farm – Because this is a hyperspawn, invite your friends to a group, spread out, and kill everything together. The faster the mobs die the faster they respawn.
