How To: Nok-Karosh is a level 102 elite mob found at the Frostboar Drifts in Frostfire Ridge that drops the Garn Nighthowl mount. It is possible to kill this mob in parties of 2-4 with competent players. The basic strategy requires the use of terrain, at least one taunt ability from two players, and at least one hunter (two is best). A group of ranged damage dealers will be able to do this most easily, no healers are needed.

Use the rock formation located near Nok’s spawn (see picture). Player 1 with taunt will stand at the top of the rock formation, while Player 2 with taunt will stand on the ground to the side of the rock formation, Hunters work best in these positions. One player should pull Nok, while players use crowd control abilities on the two adds that will pull with him. A good trick here is to have a Hunter tame one of these and then dismiss it. Nok will then be taunted by Player 1, and just before he reaches Player 1, Player 2 will taunt him. This basically keeps Nok in motion back and forth between these two positions. DPS players in the group should withhold from damage until aggro is firmly established between Player 1 and 2 (about one rotation of Nok bouncing).
Garn Nighthowl has a 100% chance to drop in the loot table once Nok is defeated. Players can either realm hop using Looking for Group or wait for the respawn. With constant kills in a small group, members can expect to receive 1 to 2 of these mounts to sell per hour.
